Current Israeli leaders are "cool, calm and collected" - that is the problem!

"cool, calm and collected, giving intelligent, articulate answers and never once appearing annoyed" in all due respect, this could describe Barak, Olmert, Livni, Peres, Peretz, etc..

Especially Peres. The well coiffed Shimon Peres with never an article of clothing out of place.

Even Abba Eban, who has no counterpart as verbose as him in the arab world, with his ridiculous statement, " never missing an opportunity to miss an opportunity" implies that the Arabs are serious about these opportunities to make peace and even regard these oppurtunties as oppurtunites for peace ratherthan just "hudnas". There is still no proof that the arabs are willing to let go of a tangible ( oil, land ) for an intangible (peace, quiet co-existence) because they have never been asked nor challenge themselves to.

As great a speaker Abba was and possessor of a brilliant erudition, he was a leftist in the company of Dayan and if he were alive today, I have no doubt that he would be as clueless as Olmert & Co. in the face of raw islamic hatred.

In fact, I believe that he would be an excellent member of Kadima spouting off brilliant anecdotes of gibberish while shining Olmert's shoes and not have any clue about the meanings of "jihad", "hudna", "fitna", "taqqiya" or "dhimmi". etc.. when pressed by Dr. Pipes in a debate.
