AmazingReader comment on item: Abba Eban's Eloquence on Israel's 10th Anniversary Submitted by Robert Patrick Moscato (United States), May 25, 2008 at 11:53 I am very impressed with the way Ambassador Eban answered the questions posed to him by Mike Wallace. The diplomatic manner in which loaded anti-Israeli questions were answered by Mr Eban showed his concern for himself and for Jews in Israel and abroad. It was not a suprise that Mike Wallace would take the view of the Arabs who took it upon themselves to Drive Israel and its people intoi the Sea. Something they continue to seek even today. I am not sure there were many in the TV news business who leaned to the left as far as Mr Wallace did back in the late 1950's. I guess 50 years does very little to change some people.
