The very name of the academy gave away plenty

The fact that it was named after a non-Muslim (Gibran was a Maronite who died in US of cirrhosis and TB) shows its true colours.

I haven't WATCHED CAIR spin, but I have actually had an email run-in with Ibrahim Hooper in 2001, after he asked Columbus (OH) to stop the Holocaust Memorial Day, so as to honour "Palestinians".

I pointed out to the mayor (and cc'ed it to Hooper) the similarity between "Palestinians" and mohajirs--both are "refugees" only of their own hatred (though subsequent descendants of mohajirs consider themselves as Pakistani and not refugees); in fact, the mohajirs actually came off less badly in my comparison due to documented "Palestinian" collaboration with Nazi Germany.

The mayor's reply was quite cordial (that he didn't know it would stir interest outside Columbus) but Hooper's was basically akin to those of the Pakistanis and Arab (sTs) on the Israel 60'th Anniversary thread--ignorant shill.
