And don't forget CanadaReader comment on item: Debating the Khalil Gibran International Academy Submitted by Devasahayam (United States), May 19, 2008 at 10:28 Basically, an official policy of "multiculturalism" can invariably be translated "divide and continue misruling"--as is actually the case in Canada where such was instituted by erstwhile (and by any sensible Canadian, unlamented due to his obvious treason in 1982) Prime Minister Pierre Eliot Trudeau. The extent of his arrogance was also displayed in that he never figured out this misrule could be discontinued through Canada's electoral system (Canadians in 1984 responded to his arrogance and treason by voting in Mulroney--who continued the bad policy of "multiculturalism" and also matched Trudeau in arrogance and treason). No Canadian government has yet seen to eliminate this stupid policy (including current one of Harper, formed from erstwhile Reform Party who became third-largest party in 1993 by campaigning AGAINST it***). This ironically is the BASE POLICY of the one adopted by Gordon Brown. In automotive industry, the closest anaology to this is an Indian minicycle Bajaj-M50, which was copied from a Yamaha model--it's actually a PERFECT copy, INCLUDING the original model's DEFECTS! ***I actually attended a 1993 pre-election rally for one of the Reform Party's candidates (since that election MP for Calgary Nosehill) at that time, and stated afterwards that she "could have been more concise on multicultralism and stated that it is 'divide and misrule'"; she answered it "ok", but some others in audience (including desi-Canadians) noted it and were all applause.
