The Deceits of Bridge's TV- The Media have helped Islam justify their behavior.

Thank you for this article Dr. Pipes, it is proof positive that Islam has recruits in the media to help them advance their cause of deceit, and what they call justice. I get angry everytime I read what happened to Aasiya Hassan. She was running for her life from this man by getting a divorce, but time ran out, for her. He also thinks he denied her final rest because of the beheading. This is plain unadulterated evil.

Al Jazeera also has its tentacles in the US trying to sway opinions and interferring with a free American society. They will never succeed with their brainwashing, because we have the truth of the bible which sets us free and gives us the spiritual body armor to fight these people and their ideas.

Muzzamil is too much of a coward to admit that radicals in Islam condone this behavior. He cannot admit he was too jealous of her to let her go, and have her freedom. You must take life, if it interferes with male superiority and domination. Heaven help all muslim women who are under the dictatorship of radical husbands.

The deceit in all of this is that the Koran, argues that women are completely equal to men in the sight of God, and that both men and women will be rewarded solely according to their deed, and not due to any sort of preference for one gender over another.

Sura 4: 19-21 says divorce is the most hated permissible act in the site of God, and is highly discouraged, but permissible in order to deal with the realities of life. (To make peace and reconcilliation is by far the better path to take.) ( However the Koran strongly forbids men from holding their wives in marriage against their will.). Once a man declares divorce to his wife verbally, the couple separates for four months to think things over. 2: 226.) If the couple still wants divorce after this period, then the woman must undergo a "waiting period of three monthly courses" before remarrying. 2:228.)

Also during this period, the Koran gives the couple yet another chance to reconcile and put things right by recommitting themselves in marriage. 2:228. After this period expires, then either the couple should get back together or peacefully separate on equitable and fair terms 2:229.

Mr. Hassan did not persue all options, before he decided to do away with his pretty wife. Many who are Islamic are not following what the Koran tells them to do, but using their own interpretations. How would Allah or Mohammed judge this? Is there not punishment for this behavior?
