Negotiating with TerroristsReader comment on item: Thoughts on the Start of Israeli-Palestinian "Proximity Talks" Submitted by Prof. Paul Eidelberg (Israel), May 10, 2010 at 13:21 Dr. Pipes has wisely set forth the correct "peace plan": Israel should defeat its enemy, the Palestinian Authority—an amalgam of terrorist organizations led by Fatah whose leader is Mahmoud Abbas. This said, I would add the following. It is absurd as well as demeaning and destructive of Israel for its Prime Minister to engaged in "peace" negotiations with an organization dedicated to Israel's annihilation—an organization that has murdered some 1,600 Jewish women, men, and children and have maimed tens of thousands more. I frankly have no words to describe this revolting behavior. On the other hand, what is there to negotiate about with Abbas and his Murder Incorporated? The method or timing of your destruction? To negotiate with evil men not only degrades your own country but also facilitates the designs of its enemies—the designs of the wicked. Indeed, by negotiating with terrorists you multiply their number. You become, in effect, a patron of terrorism—an accomplice to murder! Let us not mince words. Western leaders like Netanyahu and Obama are rewarding terrorists—a violation of international law—and, by so doing, they are giving hundreds of millions of Muslims a license to slaughter us and our loved ones!
