I can't disagree, Dr. Pipes, but "ouch," anyway.
As to Mazrui's rhetorical question of "why Arabs lagged behind Jews in manifest genius" in reference to the Arabs' achievements in Africa and the Jews' achievements in Europe: Perhaps it is due to the Jewish approach as contributors, versus the Arab approach as predators?
Just a thought.
