True RacismeReader comment on item: Ali Mazrui, Antisemite Submitted by Cherif El-Ayouty (Denmark), May 25, 2010 at 02:52 Mazrui says: "Arabs are far less race-conscious and ethnic-conscious than Jews are," and: "Acceptance of race mixture was more developed in Arab culture than in Jewish culture." This statement being uttered by such an illustrious person proves that even if you are a world recognized reference it does not save you from the fact that you might be a total ignorant about some very important matters. I have worked most of my life in Africa and the Middle East. I visited South Africa secretly during the apartheid regime and even had a white girlfriend there and thus learned about their position concerning blacks. I have been in most remote areas of practically all African and Arab countries and can tell you today that if you want to learn about apartheid, racisme, intolerance of others and straight forward hatred between ethnic groups then you should visit those places. Black Africans and Arabs are world masters in those matters. I have never seen so advanced and deep-rooted race-consciousness anywhere on earth and I did visit, in depth, 111 countries. In Africa, there are 4,000 local languages and thus 4,000 antagonist ethnic groups even if they are all black. Each ethnic group could enslave any other one if it had the means. Arabs are no different and being a Muslim does not spare you the slavery-like treatment if you are from another tribe, district or country.
