Mazrui is a Classic HypocriteReader comment on item: Ali Mazrui, Antisemite Submitted by Uko (Ghana), Aug 27, 2014 at 16:54 Professor Mazrui has written good books and done some interesting documentaries, but that's about it. When it comes to integrity and standing for the truth, he is certainly not one to be relied on. His masked support for extremist Jihadists is steadily being exposed even as he plays the deceptive role of harmless, elderly intellectual. He worked for Idi Amin, supported Qaddafi, and constantly plays down the horrors of the Arab Slave Trade because he is part Arab. After Nigeria's Civil War he wrote The Trial of Christopher Okigbo where he condemned Okigbo's efforts at defending and dying for his embattled people. Clearly, Mazrui was supporting the ethnic cleansing strategies of his Hausa & Fulani Muslim brethren. So, what is he doing in the US, being that he is so anti-White, Christian and Western? Mazrui is your classic hypocrite. I'm not sure who came up with this notion that he is Africa's leading scholar. Let's talk about people like Wole Soyinka, Chinua Achebe, Dennis Brutus, Chike Obi, Ngugi wa Thiong'o...etc. These are great African scholars who are also people of dignity that have genuinely worked for the continent.
