Islam & the West

Speaking as Muslim, i whole heartdedly condemn what the terrorists do, and how they drag Islam through the mud. No cause can justify acts like 9/11. That said, to go around bombing other countries for the sake of resources and control,is also without any justification. people need to understand why the terrorists get pushed so far in thier minds, not imposing control and creating double standards in the world. How many people really understand how the Palestinians have suffered for just over half a century, or how the Chechen people have been slaughtered and continue to suffer under the false pretext of a war on terror? Notice i said the PEOPLE, not the terrorists.

And Islamic modernisation can happen, just within the confines of the teachings of the Qu'ran, Hadith and Sunnah, not what the West sees fit. People need to understand that there are different ways of life out there. Islam is one of them, & the West can't force its perceptions of what is best on the world.
