Two fight and the third wins.Reader comment on item: The Left's New Enemy: "Empire" Submitted by Ianus (Poland), Jun 25, 2010 at 06:18 Hello, G.Vishvas ! Thanks for your insightful comment : "Two fight and the third wins. Left and right fight and each wants islam as its ally. Thus islam (especially its fascist component) has become the dominant force now." I absolutely agree with you . Both right and left are gladly selling the rest of us to Islam to achieve their dubious particular goals without realizing they will be the last to be eaten by triumphant Islam . Anyway , it is how Islam has achieved ALL its victories . A long and devastating war between Byzantium and Persia paved the way to Islam's conquest of Persian and Byzantine territories. A dissatisfied Visigothic count allies himself with the Arabs who conquer Spain . A court faction in Constantinople sees the triumph of the Moslem Seljuks in Asia Minor as a lesser evil than strengthening an emperor who happens to belong to the opposite faction . A later upstart Byzantine Emperor - Cantakuzinos - sends his daughter to the Turkish sultan's harem to get Moslem troops with whose help he beats his personal enemies and retains his usurped imperial crown . The Turks come gladly to Europe to help him ... and never leave . Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
