All will go to BrasilReader comment on item: Lebanon, Stuck between Israel and Syria Submitted by Lebanon (Czech Republic), Jul 17, 2011 at 12:54 de facto Christian majority of Lebanon was literally destroyed by adding of non-Christian counties [like Beqaa' or Tarabulus etc.] by the French in the 1920s. This was an utmost unwise thing to do; I understand the reasons, but the final outcome is terrible. Next issue is the strong emigration of Christians [who have been emigrating for at least last 2 centuries to Europe & both Americas], therefore enhancing falling percentage of Lebanese Christians. Do you want to see happy Lebanese Christians? Go and visit them in Brasil ;-) Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
