The fallacy of the "interfaith dialogue"Reader comment on item: Lebanon, Stuck between Israel and Syria Submitted by sara (United States), Mar 15, 2012 at 17:44 Yes, Ugri, it is a terrible truth that gullible and naive westerners will never understand. Only those of us who have lived through it and bear witness to the reality can know that the interfaith dialogue attempts are a complete sham. Only to make the westerners feel like they are doing something and everyone pretends it is so. My father started out an ideologue and quit his job to help them and ended up with a burned center and a breakdown. These foolish western ideas of dialogue and understanding are all whistling in the wind, The Muslims never have and never will negotiate or compromise unless they are forced to. They are not interested in peace, just what they can manipulate. They do not represent the people, only their pockets and their ideology. This is how tribal culture has been conducted for centuries and the west is so impossibly arrogant as to assume that everyone must think just like them, tolerant, equal, fair and lily-livered. They just perceive it as weakness and wait to take advantage. If you want peace, prepare for war.
