Wishful thinkingReader comment on item: Lebanon, Stuck between Israel and Syria Submitted by Solomon Taragano (Israel), Jul 18, 2011 at 08:15 Thank you for the laughs... Turkey cannot even control its own borders yet alone rule the world. Only three days ago some 17 Turkish soldiers were slaughtered by a band of amateur PKK freedom fighters in Diyarbakir. Turkish economy is in shambles as the unemployment keeps rising. Trade deficit has reach an all time high (about 7 billion dollars per month) National debt has passed the half trillion dollars mark. Hundreds of journalist and scholars are rotting in jail on trumped up charges. New filters added by the AKP government are monitoring the internet. I think you should consider your comment.
