Interfaith dialogueReader comment on item: Lebanon, Stuck between Israel and Syria Submitted by Ugri (Finland), Mar 15, 2012 at 08:59 "I grew up in Jerusalem and experienced many interfaith gatherings (my father organized them) and I met many Christian missionaries etc. " sara,, at least your father tried to do something. Now, in retrospect, it seems to me his efforts were doomed. 'During another Islamic-Christian meeting, always organized by Christians, a Christian participant publicly asked the Muslims present why they did not organize at least once a meeting of this kind. The Muslim authority present answered the following words: 'Why should we? You have nothing to teach us and we have nothing to learn.'" Romans 9:30 : What shall we say then? In Aramaic Mai kaa mashma lan? Most of Interfaith dialogues begin to look like sheer lunacy.
