HELLO DANIEL

I have to share your opinion not being too happy with the rebels taking over in Libya

You say it well, we have no idea as to whom we are dealng with. At least in Egypt, we know it is the ARMY who shoul know how to run a state having been groomed under the pevious autocracy.

I am affraid that our western mentality to be against ANY dictator, is making it easy for any rebel to take over, regardless if he has an idea of what democracy is. We are so easily duped into thinking things will change the way we wish them to change.

The example you used in Iran is so true. I will say as someone said before me " Better the devil you know than the devil you dont"

As for an "ideological movement" I a sorry to say that I doubt this two words are part of the arabic vocabulary as any ideology here, has t do with ISLAM
