I look forward to the day when Hillary Brassy-voice Clinton and Samantha Power no longer have a role in shaping US foreign policy. After spending so much on Afghanistan and Iraq, it was utter folly to think that we were taking the moral high ground to pretend that we were supporting "democracy" in Libya. If we were so worried about what might happen to Qaddafi's nuclear weapons materials, we should've made it clear that there's a US nuclear umbrella over a large portion of the globe; and openly stated to the world to hear that if a nuclear device is detonated in an American city, several Iranian or whoever's cities and strategic sites will be rendered uninhabitable (and, by the way, Iran, that goes for things your Hizbollah and Hamas proxies do, too).
