To a certain extent, the Iranian debacle can be excused since it was the first such movement. I had never heard of Khomenei before, but our intelligence services should have known and the media should have known and reported as such.

I see a band of Islamic terrorists states from Algeria to Egypt and south to Kenya, possibly including Chad. Include Yemen and the Red Sea becomes an Islamic terrorist lake. The Suez is shut down to Western nations and Morocco will soon follow.
