U.S. Hubris and Folly Once AgainReader comment on item: Embassy Baghdad in Decline Submitted by Renee Bouvier (United States), Feb 8, 2012 at 19:03 Well, now the 99% know where their tax money is going. It's quite obvious the Americans decided not to listen to the advice of Professor Amatzia Baram of Haifa University. The Americans seem to have kicked him to the curb soon after hiring him, so he ended up lecturing at the Georgetown University. Didn't the Americans learn anything from their experience in Saudi Arabia? Iraq is a much bigger country with a much more educated and skilled population. If you think 9/11 was a catastrophe, just wait. "Hit me, hit me, hit me! Baruch Hashem, Israel doesn't have oil! Thanks to the 1%, many Americans on U.S. soil will once again perish due to greed and hubris. The U.S. compound in Iraq is tantamount to Iraq building a huge facility on which there once was a financial district in NYC on the island of Manhattan.
