The Arab nations wouldn't even protect their own brethren let alone their addiction to our money supplied by our addiction to their oil. Calling our forces an occupying army is simplistic. There wouldn't even be any Arab nations if the western allies hadn't set them up and financed their very formation after World War II. They got far more than they deserved after throwing in their lot with the Nazi war machine.
