The Arabs keep exempting themselves from the very job of protecting even themselves. If it weren't for the United States, Kuwait and who knows how many other Muslim nations would be under the ruthless rulership of Saddam Hussein. The Muslim nations let any despot run rampant but expect the rest of the world to sit idly by while their addiction to sole provision by international sales of oil is threatened. You want our money, not to mention our countries, churches, and all else, but expect us to sit back while you decimate yourselves.
