this is depressing

Indeed this update is depressing. It seems that more and more the international community is gliding towards making Israel a pariah state. This is a dangerous development. I believe the danger of this development will only exponentially increase if President Obama is re-elected. Should that come to pass it would be a terrible blow to our American Republic. It would be an unmitigated disaster for Israel.

The immediate danger for Israel comes from Iran. From news reports I gather that our country has not supplied Israel with the top grade of "bunker buster bombs." Without those Israel would only have a partial success when Israel decides to attempt to take our Iran's nuclear capability. Several attacks would be necessary and the cost in human life and treasure would be terrible for Israel. Doubtlessly much carnage would be visited on Israel from Hezbollah and Khamas. But what else can Israel do?

The other situation (i.e., the "refugee" fabrication concerning which more and more countries are claiming as true) will probably require Israel to, eventually, take definitive military action in the West Bank. If this is being contemplated Israel should act suddenly and with major force. The International reaction will be fierce and a country such as the "new" Turkey may itself engage in some attack on Israel. In any case, when the dust settles Israel should unilaterally ANNEX portions of the West Bank and then build final border security. In this regard it would be a horror not to annex the holy city, Khevron. This is a moral imperative rather than a military strategy.

Nothing has ever been easy about birthing the Third Commonwealth and keeping it vibrant. ((The very word "Israel" means "struggle.)) But if the Nation of Israel falls and/or disintegrates over time, the very future of the Jewish People becomes racially precarious. There is no substitute for tough and courageous decisions in concert with smart and effective implementation of those decisions.
