Israel has the right to self defense

While the rest of the (Western) world worries and talks, Israel is the one who must bear the consequences of inaction. Whether it is simply Islamist bluster or a real threat, and I have confidence that there is sufficient evidence that there is, it is Israel's decision about how to face an existential threat to her citizens. Never mind that the Arabs in the West Bank and Gaza will likely be facing the same danger, I wonder what they are really saying behind the scenes...?
