Iran's Nuclear ThreatReader comment on item: After an Israeli Strike on Iran Submitted by Dan Rusen (Canada), Jun 26, 2012 at 21:02 I'm getting tired of hearing about the imminent threat of Iran's acquiring nuclear weaponry. Those centrifuges have been spinning for half a dozen years at least, and yet the west has been warning during all this time that the rogue state could go nuclear within anywhere from a month, to certainly within a year. Assuming that the 'stuxnet' virus has done its job, it may be true that the development of the Bomb has been disrupted, but surely the effort hasn't stopped them in their tracks. Even worse, pundits have been bloviating ad nauseum about the possibility of an Israeli led raid on the Iranian nuclear installations. Does Mr. Pipes have some notion of what will happen first and when? Because we know one thing for sure: the pundits will never stop speculating about things they fear - yet know little about.
