Memories of the HolocaustReader comment on item: Chuck Hagel at Defense? Submitted by Leon Kushner (Canada), Jan 28, 2013 at 18:10 AIPAC and other prominent Jewish organizations and most American Jewish leaders remind me of the Jewish leaders and organizations during WWII. At a time that millions of Jewish Europeans were being sent to the ovens to be burnt alive, most prominent Jewish leaders and organizations were silent. Instead of boycotts, riots, parades, letters to the government, these Jews decided that the best course of actions was to remain silent. With Hagel, Kerry and Brennan in power along with their leader Obama, not only is Israel in trouble but every Jew in the world is in serious trouble. Those Jewish leaders who are silent today will eventually be silenced forever. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
