One will only hope Dr. Pipes.

The biggest mistake the so called moderate muslims made was their response to Salman Rushdie affair and the cartoon affair. They thought that being wishy washy and excusing the extremists will help their cause. They acted under the premise that being somewhat tolerant to christians and other people of the book is enough to demand tolerance to their book and prophet.

Guess what, Europe and West is not only comprised of people of the book. There are many atheists, agnostics and pagans. Howe these tree are treated under Islam? Only death. This makes Islam and its prophet deeply offensive to these groups. As much as like insulting Mohamed. Do these groups have the right to be offended? Or this right is only reserved for the muslims? Even as we speak in many islamic countries atheism is punished with death.

Meanwhile in Europe, home to many atheists, agnostics and pagans muslims have buildt more than 20,000 mosques in may cases with these three groups defending the right of muslims to build places of warship.

How many muslims are ready to defend the rights of atheists in islamic world? Not many.

While it's true that every religion has it's extremists, the nonbelievers managed to hold their extremists to create enough space for muslims to emigrate and build places of warship, while the muslim "moderates" respond accordingly.

Let me get my point straight. I am deeply offended by the fact that Mohamed is worshipped by muslims, even he killed every atheist, agnostic and pagan that didn't convert. This is a holocaust bigger than the WW2 holocaust. Imagine that entire group was massacred without even one.

What these three groups suppose to do when muslims continue to dance on the graves of these groups. Not only that but preachers routinely continue to spew bigotry against these groups.
