Islamophobia and Anti-Semitism

You state that a recent report, which asked what qualities Germans associate with Islam, found that they regarded it as being intolerant, violent and wishing to dominate the political arena. Sadly, I suspect that a similar survey on Judaism in Germany or other mainland European countries would ascertain similar or even more negative views, particularly with respect to political and economic domination, and especially in Hungary and France. It is less than a lifetime since most Europeans collaborated with the NDSAP in trying to eliminate the Jewish presence in Europe. The UK is probably a degree more tolerant, although UKIP (a somewhat xenophobic party) is now becoming a significant political force.
