Choose the best among all bad

Reader comment on item: Yes, Support the Syrian Rebels

Submitted by NuritG (United States), Dec 21, 2013 at 12:57

Assad is a beastly murderer; the Islamist insurgents are as bad. One is bad and one is worse.

The difference is that the alliance of Assad + Hezbollah + Iran is a strategic threat to the state of Israel. Al-Qaeda is, maximum a tactical threat and a terrorist organization cannot bring down a country.

So if we have to choose between Assad and Al-Qaeda I prefer Al-Qaeda.

There are no righteous among them here. We have to seek and choose the one who is less dangerous.
