Not that easy

Dear Daniel,

knowing you as an honest, objective scholar I still would like to caution you from overestimating these numbers partially confirming your prediction; and, of course, they still are subject to interpretation.

During very recent past we can see dramatic increase in the intraMuslim violence, which definitely creates the disillusioned. The problem remains that when it comes to the violence against infidels their support may not be in such or any decline.
