However let us take Egypt as an example. There is no doubt that there is a very large number of Egyptians that post on social media. And many of them are very educated and very articulate and yes their voices do not represent the majority of Egyptians that are not educated or under educated and are under the influence of the MB and the radical shiekhs Well the trend among those that post is that many of them have no like for the MB and they call the MB all sorts of names the likes of Gama3a Irhabiyya or terrorist group and many Egyptians also call the MB a cult and it is interesting to read the responses to tweets posted by apologists of the MB the likes of Mohamed el-Ibiary and many accuse him of being a fifth column and an MB operative and a traitor to Egypt However many of these tweets end with the mantra: "but this has nothing to do with islam" and I also read the likes of "If the MB was not forced out of office Egyptians would be witnessing that is going on in Iraq and Syria in their own backyards" I do not think we have seen the end of Islamism but I very much agree with you that it has peaked and it is on the decline and may be a more benign form of islam will be created Submitting....
