Turkey is a psychotic nation; in the educated western half, secular and somewhat indifferent to Islam but the opposite in the uneducated east. Kemal Ataturk revered yet Islam on the rise. The majority of young Turks want the western lifestyle which is a positive sign.

And yes, I lived in Turkey for 2 years...
