Nothing will strengthen the Ayatollah more than getting nuclear weapons.Reader comment on item: Today's Iran Debate Misses the Point Submitted by Dan (United States), Apr 21, 2015 at 20:37 This would end much sooner if the US destroyed the Iranian nuclear infrastructure instead of this situation where everyone who wants the threat of a nuclear Iran, including the entire the entire arab world are pinning their hopes on tiny Israel. If Israel does not destroy the Iranian nuclear facilities, and they do make a bomb, then the Ayatollahs get to bask in the glory of becoming a nuclear equal with great powers. This will keep them in power much longer than losing their nuclear facilities. Maybe the Iranian people will support their dictatorship more after an attack, maybe not, but who cares! When the Iranian people tried to remove their own regime in 2009, they were crushed! The ayatollah will stay in power for a long time. Let's pray someone makes sure it is without nuclear weapons.
