but think about it - it would require a large team of tech people to pull off stunts ike that - with known science. Hardly something a lot of people are going to worship. Was there any worshipping happening when the Space Shuttle first took off and lnded? Nah... we easily lose the sense of wonder - and realise it all breaks down into the successful undertaking of a myriad of carefully planned steps with a definite outcome intended. Just last year humanity landed a spacecraft on a comet! And now it's like '..great!....next..??.'

I think you can get the drift. This "beast" may be a visible creature in heaven, where John sees him; but on earth, he/she/it is an invisible spirit, a world-view in people's minds.
