The Control Age, and the insignificance of Islamism

Hi, Waz

We're starting to diverge on all sorts of matters.

Essentially, the people who control the world -- Barack Obnama, Janet Yellen, Sergey Brin, Jamie Dimon, Rex Tillerson, Jeffrey Immelt, Timothy Cook, Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, Charles Koch, Michael Bloomberg, Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg, etc. -- all Americans -- and the handful of others in other countries (mostly Europe) are hard at work, working out the details of a World Economic Order (initially, TPP + TTIP), to be followed by a deeper political union. It is the above, along with others of their class, who have complete control of these matters. True, various national parliaments, etc. need to give their rubber stamp; but those parliaments consist of elected officials who are bought and sold by the ruling class.

ISIS, etc.? They want, for whatever reason, to tear down the infrastructure that keeps the Western economy rolling and keeps the above individuals in power. At best, they are a mild irritant to those individuals. The fact that European tourists are kidnapped and beheaded, etc. doesn't really impede the flow of goods, services and money. If it ever does, the Islamies will be squashed like so many bugs.

Most people in the Western World, while ever seeking a bigger piece of their countries' economic pies, essentially favor the great oligarchical rule of Gates & Co., because, like Hitler before them, they keep the streetcars (upgrade to "Internet") running and put bread on the table. In order to keep things flowing, they will gladly throw the Jews, Christians and anyone else necessary to the crocodiles. Needless to say, the Islamies are also fair game.

The "Gog" attack on Israel, detailed in Ezekiel 38-39, mentions a purely Islamic coalition of Turkey, Iran, Sudan and Libya. That attack is the only clear, unmistakeable mention of an Islamic attack on Israel in the end times; and with an Israel-hating demogogue like Erdogan in Turkey, it's not hard at all to imagine the passage coming to pass in the immediate future. Journalists will be having nervous breakdowns when it happens; but anyone with any grasp whatever on the Bible should not be perturbed by these things.

So much for the Islamies. As I said, they're just pests. Except for the fact that they will attack Israel, I would not be much concerned about them. Ultimately, after the Islamist annoyance is dealt with by the defeat of Turkey et al, the great conflict of God's People vs. the World System will come to the forefront. I might still be alive on this planet when that happens.

You might notice some names conspicuously absent from the list: The Rockefeller Foundation doesn't even make the grade, now Queen Elizabeth II. No Rothschilds are anywhere to be seen. The Pope is considered a powerful figure by Forbes, etc., not particularly high up; and the richest people made their money mostly from software, retail sales and hedge fund management -- not steel, railroads, or other heavy manufacturing.

The above, of course, reflects the fact that we are in the mature end stages of the "Information Age", having left the Industrial Age in the dust. The age coming up, and the multi-billionaires and trillionaires of the years to come, will be part of what I would call the "Control Age" -- not the age of computers and software for fun and commerce, but of control of living things (genetic engineering), industrial processes (robotics) and social and thought engineering. As a harbinger of these things, I recently watched a talk show about the future of Google and other search engines. Today, we think of these as enormous data banks -- stores of information about everyone, the fodder of "The Last Enemy" TV series. Today, we're already past the shock of the fact that governements, companies and hackers have shattered illusions we once had about privacy; so this matter wasn't much the topic of conversation. What did come up, in talk about the future direction of Google, etc., was the fact that what we now consider "normal" searching, looking things up using keywords, won't even exist in a few years: Instead of our having to search for things we want to know, the Internet engines will already know what we're thinking and what we want, and they will simply offer us a selection to choose from. That's no longer "information". It's control.

There you have it -- "the beast" (One World Govt., controlled by some rich Americans) and the "false prophet" (control technology), just as described in the book of Revelation, and unfolding quickly right in front of our eyes. These things are coming to be, because people WANT THEM, because they make life comfortable and easy to those fortunate enough to still be in the Middle Class; and the rest of the world, you probably can see, could take a flying leap as far as they're concerned.

That's the shape of the world of today and of the near future. It is a world ripe for judgment, and we will not be raptured out of it. Children will betray parents and wives will betray husbands in those days, and, as Jesus said, "the love of many will grow cold". This isn't some dreamed-up prophecy; it's current reality.
