King Don vs. HillzillaReader comment on item: Musing on History Submitted by Michael S (United States), Apr 21, 2016 at 03:27 Hi, Moh. You said, "In Singapore (where chewing gum and long hair on men is banned) they have the all-seeing eyes of the State upon them (mostly via video cameras) - much like the UK is becoming. The self-censorship that is engendered by the threat of constant surveillance eventually becomes automatic and stifling. People must have the freedom to be able to do the wrong thing. Allah, the angry, jew-hating deity in that little green book of arabian ignorance has all the qualities that a despot needs to run a police state of the mind." Yes, "Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate", as Qur'an calls him repeatedly, is the perfect Big Brother -- but he doesn't have a state in which to exercise his "compassion & mercy" other than Da'esh; and Da'esh has a limited life expectancy. You then said, "I don't see it as a 'Beast'. It is the best of many possible alternatives such as N Korea, Zimbabwe, South Africa etc. Would you rather live in Diepsloot, S.A.? But your country in particular , despite it's incredible advances in certain areas for a relatively limited few, has a lot of injustices happening within its borders which might cause you to see the darker side too often..." The dark side of my country, and of yours, is that people are looking to them as gods, the ones who can solve their problems. This was true of the British Empire, the French Empire, the Spanish Empire, the Roman Empire... all the way back to Pharaoh's Egypt, which the Israelites kept longing to go back to, even after God had delivered them from bondage there. Being "the Beast" has nothing to do with "injustice", or how groovy a place might be. The Devil is the one who gives power to the Beast; and he also can appear delicious and groovy to people; but in the end, he wants feast on their undead souls in hell. You went on, "...New Zealand! When was the last time you heard of anything happening there in the press?" I follow New Zealand news with some interest. I'm glad they told the politically correct among them to take their fern flag and put it to good use in personal hygeine. I like the Union Jack. New Zealand usually fights alongside us in our various military adventures; though if they keep up their priorities as they have been, their navy will soon consist of a surf board. The latest from New Zealand, in an "Empire" perspective, is that Chile, NZ, Brunei and Singapore form the core of the proposed TPP -- and the TPP, in turn, probably will not disappear from the news any time soon. In fact, it may continue to be quite an issue throughout the US Presidential campaign. Kiwiland is not a large country; but it's important to the Empire -- just as Alaska rules vast tracts of resource-rich oceans and lands, NZ commands a sizeable chunk of resource-rich ocean and ice; and of course, my son-in-law is a NZ citizen. My US Congressman also owns land there. You went on, "New Zealand! When was the last time you heard of anything happening there in the press?" Ah, "The Last Enemy" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0966151/ Perhaps some part of your brain doesn't think "The Empire" is that benevolent after all! "Grexit, Brexit, Catalonia..." Those are all matters of fleeting concern. I think Donald Trump has it right, that NATO and our other "freeloading" friends aren't all that vital to us. Sure, The Empire needs partners and turf; but they probably need us more. The Multinational Corporations (which are our actual allies, not the EU or NATO) need an environment of peace and stability in order to do busines and make lots of money. If alliances like the Five Eyes, NATO, etc. start crumbling, the jig is up for the multinationals; so they will do anything and pay any price to keep them going. Donald Trump knows this; so when he talks filppantly about NATO, the TTP, etc., he knows that they will ultimately come around to his demands. Russia and China cannot offer anything like an alternative. In China's case, they can offer lots of cheap manufactured goods, etc. but if the US called their bluff militarily, they would have no peace, no stability, no trade, no nothing. That is the brinksmanship of today's politics. Obama is very inept at playing the game, but Trump is not. Brexit, the visa issue, etc. are examples of centripetal forces in today's order. As the Bible says, Daniel 2: That is the weakness of the Western "Union" (This extends to Australia, the US, Korea, the EU, the whole ball of wax). But the solution to this weakness, during the last days, is, Revelation 17: The solution to Western disunity will be more and more subservience to the "US", which is to say, in reality, to the phenominally rich oligarchs like Bill Gates, etc. who run the US and the rest of the world. You went on, "Islamist threat is more sinister. Their goal is eventual world domination." The Isalamies want the world, the multinationals want the world... EVERYBODY wants to rule the world. The Islamists, however, are very, very, very, very unable to do so; but the multinationals can rule the world and do rule the world. You went on, "Ah , Trump, a red head with a Scottish mother..... I like the idea of having him win just for the hell of it - it will throw the cat among the pigeons as the saying goes. Of course it's unlikely I'd be affected personally be affected by that outcome." Piers Morgan of the Daily Mail http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3550172/PIERS-MORGAN-Trump-raging-King-Don-Clinton-scary-cold-blooded-monster-Hill-Zilla-right-money-s-hairy-beast.html predicts that King Don will beat Hilzilla in November. Since this is the election of the Ruler of the World, you will be affected as much as I will. King Don is campaigning against Big Money; but of course, he's part of the club. Bill and Hillary Clinton aren't as rich; but it's ridiculously obvious that they're in their direct pay; so whichever creature wins the title of Chief Beast, you and I will be affected by much the same sinister policies. Shalom shalom :-)
