Wait and see

Erdogan's Islamist counter revolution or anti Ataturkism "may seem to have succeeded". But don't bet on it. More than half of the Turkish people hate him for his despotism/anacronism/ignorance/dishonesty and corruption. Even many of his religiously inclined followers are critical of him for his dishonesty and the way he has used their religion to advance his selfish/corrupt plans. Under the circumstances, a bloody cleaning operation seems more and more inevitable which will take care of him and his ilk. Neither Turkey nor the conditions in this region of the world can let one mad man to cause so much trouble.
