A bigger danger

Erdogan's delusions of grandeur risk dragging NATO into a large war. It is imperative that the American policy community take a long, hard look at this increasingly dangerous ally and find a way to pull Turkey away from the brink. Perhaps it's something in which some help from France, Germany, and other allies could be enlisted.

It is also a reason to be very dubious about a Hillary Clinton presidency. As SecState, she allowed Erdogan's Turkey to pull us in on the side of supposed "moderate" Sunni rebels, whose chief diference with Da'esh is the length of their beards.
