Libertarians for TrumpReader comment on item: MEF's Surprising Straw Poll on Trump Submitted by Kevin Bjornson (United States), Apr 15, 2016 at 15:09 "anarchy" is the total absence of "government" (which is the organization of force to control or regulate human behavior) Very few libertarian foundations, and none that are significant, are anarchist-oriented. The Libertarian Party has a self-styled "anarchist" wing, mostly followers of Murray Rothbard. But they are not really anarchists, because their proposed agencies of defensive/retaliatory force would be governments in fact, if not in name. Any of the three remaining GOP contenders would be far better than Sanders or Clinton There is a "Libertarians for Trump" webpage and Facebook page. When I read their first press release, I took the liberty of getting our FB page. I know most of those involved, many were participants in the Lib-Profs discussion group (of which I was a part, due to my teaching at Liberty Camps in the former Soviet Union). The pundit-crats that are libertarian or conservative oriented, feel threatened by Trump, who likely would not hire them for advice. What tributes have the pundits brought to America? They actually benefit from failure, and thrive under Obama. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
