Not Unintended Consequences - Assimilation is a Western Word Never Allowed in the OrientReader comment on item: The Mundane Origins of Germany's Huge Turkish Population Submitted by M. Tovey (United States), Oct 31, 2016 at 11:21 If ever there was an argument of oxymorons blended with dichotomies of broken paradigms, this previous missive is replete with them. It is a well known component of history that wars are not always won in bloodshed, even in spite of the 'rivers of blood' promised by Islamist fundamentalism. That British and French incursions into Muslim territories have left Muslims influences in positions of power in the Middle East from the first World War is legend; Muslim legend. It is the basis of the resurgence of Islam in ways that are not all that hard to assimilate; pun intended. They are now paying for this exquisite misunderstanding. Germany's alliance with Turkey in both World Wars have come to fruition in Germany. The irony is thick as a pork brat over sauerkraut. But if there is any resolution to be determined about Islamism and how the world is going to deal with them, remember this. They are sons of Ishmael, not Isaac. Islam never received the promise of world domination, except in their own version of the world. Once they think they have it, they will pay the consequences for the error of their own thinking; and for the deception of those who would not believe in the truth of Israel's own promises.
