Democracy and secularism in all countries but Islamic countries

Dear Dr Pipes

, in response to your reader Mr Iftikar Ahmad's above long letter supporting multi-culturalism, it will be safe to say that Muslims love democracy and secularism in all countries except in those where they are in majority. In the Muslim-majority countries they love Islamic-theocracies. This is a hypocrisy and it must stop. It is the duty of every right-thinking person to try and work abolish Islamic theocracies where ever they exist or are likely to exist.

I will invite Mr Iftikar Ahmad to write an honest letter to your site and say that even if Palestine or Kashmir ever become independent states, they should be secular democracies.

Better still, he should issue a call for Pakistan to become a secular democracy. You see, secular democracy is so good. How can anyone, including Pakistan, resist it?
