I know very little about Iran

I'm sorry if I gave that impression (and yes, I have been an Orwell fan for some 55 years). I don't know what will happen to the Ayatollah. I only know that the Biblical equivalent of Iran will join the Biblical equivalents of Turkey, Sudan and Eastern Libya in an attack on Israel (Ezekiel 39). The details of this and everything in the Middle East have been eluding me with ever-increasing perplexity lately.

Since the leader of the attack will be "Gog, Leader of Meshech and Tubal", and this corresponds to the leader of Turkey, I have been following Turkish President Ergodan's words and actions with the greatest interest. It is hard NOT to think of him as the prophesied "Gog", because of his increasingly megalomaniacal, volatile, paranoid character. What's more, he has claimed much of Iraq and Syria as being in his "sphere of influence", and has introduced his army into NW Syria.

Iran is allied to Syria, Hizbullah, N. Yemen, Iraq and Yemen. As far as I know, their efforts to find common ground with Turkey have not been very successful. That's all I know about them.
