On the Civil War in Palestine, 1948-2017

Dear Daniel Pipes,

Thanks for another excellent timely Article about Israel, Palestine, and the Middle East.

Just yesterday I read an informed piece which used the expression "Civil War" to describe the situation in and about Israel. Civil Wars do not take place between Countries or States. And since there is only One Country and State in and about the Disputed Territories, namely Israel, what is happening there is therefore a Civil War. In this Civil War Israelis Jews are simply building Homes in a part Mandatory Palestine which was set aside by the League of Nations for the Jewish People. But now, and in the latest Security Council Resolution, the New World Order has again determined that there now is a new "Pales of Settlement" outside of which Jews are not allowed. The new Pale is defined by the 1948 Armistice Lines - and the United Nations is attempting to impose them upon the Civil War warring parties, Israeli Jews, and non-Jewish Palestinians who aren't citizens of Israel.

The fortunate think, is that instead of Palestinians being actively sought to be killed, the Israeli Jews are merely settling on land outside the new Pale of Settlement now imposed not by the Tsarist Russian Empire but by a Resolution of the United Nations.

So now some good news - if you're on the side of the Israeli Jews, not the Liberal or Leftist, almost assimilated, American Jews. (I don't mind assimilated Jews - as long as they don't dictate to Israelis their self-righteous morality, or political science).
