Questions for Islamic freedom fightersReader comment on item: This Is the Moment for an Israeli Victory Submitted by Prashant (United States), Jan 5, 2017 at 12:21 Dear Dr Pipes, your reader Gary Clarke from Canada suggested that Palestinians should be embarrassed. You replied to Gary Clarke that Palestinians seem to me quite un-embarrassable. Your observation is quiet correct. Hypocrisy, out there, is perfectly legitimate and is seated in accepted doctrine. However the free world should never refrain from calling out Islamic religious-cum-political leaders for their hypocrisy. My questions for all Islamic freedom fighters are always the same: Are you going to create a Islamic theocracy when you get your independence or a secular democracy? And if you are fighting for a Islamic theocracy then A) how come you love democracy in USA, UK, India , France (etc) so much and B) Why your fight for independence should be considered legitimate? Islamic freedom fighters and conquerors have always fought to grab land. They have hardly ever fought to spread spirituality or goodness. And all freedom loving people and institutions should never be shy of reciting this fact. It will eventually start embarrassing the worldwide Islamic political establishment. If the goal of an independent nation in Kashmir were to create a democratic skiing paradise where all people of the world could go and enjoy, there would hardly be any opposition to an independent Kashmir. If the goal of an independent Palestine were to create a center of scientific and engineering excellence (like Israel), there would be little opposition to a independent Palestinian state. Unfortunately, if these two independent nations ever come to be, they will be 98% Islamic through marriages, murders, conversions, higher population-growth rate, emigration of non-Muslims, and discrimination. Please correct me if I said something wrong here.
