Pipes is CorrectReader comment on item: Obama, Kerry and Netanyahu Go Visceral Submitted by Sigmund Silber (United States), Jan 1, 2017 at 02:13 I think Pipes has it correct. Three leaders (if you want to count Kerry as a leader) letting their emotions get the better of them. Israel taking it out on New Zealand was not wise. Breaking off green shoots re better relations with African Nations was very unwise. Obama revealed that he is not a thinker but someone who acts out of spite. I don't give Kerry any credit for even belonging to the human race..He is just pure evil to me. And Trump may also be over-reacting. And the Palestinians always their own worst enemies..starting in 1948 when the UN resolution offered statehood to both the Jews and the Palestinians. My own belief is the core of the problem is the U.K.. Syria has played its role but no longer is a player. There should have been a better solution to Hitler than creating a Jewish Ghetto in what then was a small remnant Jewish population that forgot to participate in the Diaspora. Great Britain encouraged Jordan to attack rather than extend traditional Arab hospitality. It has been downhill from there. One can debate Israeli strategic decisions over the years. It is hard to walk in someone else's moccasins so I can't say that they missed opportunities even if I think they might have. This action by Obama was very wrong partly because of timing. Ideas are always a good thing but parting shots are not. Hopefully his legacy will be negatively impacted and I will do my best to aid in that process if I have to take five years to research his administration and write a book and if I retain my faculties that long. He has done a lot of bad things. But nothing compares to the life of John Kerry. I doubt if he has ever done a decent thing in his entire life. What a waste Obama has been. The first Black President who fully wanted to make the World a better place. A man who fully wanted to reject the colonial history of the U.S. and full wanted better race relations. In all areas he has failed not because of lack of desire to have good things happen but due to unwillingness to think about the feelings of all others and a lack of management skills to keep his subordinates moving in positive directions. It is a true waste. Now we have to see what the future will hold. I do not expect Israel to survive or Jews to survive. Their situation was precarious even before Obama's Holiday present. Now it is next to impossible. Will Obama get a second Peace Prize for this Final Solution? Perhaps. Kerry who is of Jewish descent (similar to mine and George Soros) his grandparents on the fathers' side were named Kohn) will be forgotten. He only exists as a major national figure to a large extent because of his second wife Teresa Heinz. When opportunity knocks, John Kerry is always right there. It is a sorry way to end 2016.
