Netanyahu may have over-played his Trump handReader comment on item: Obama, Kerry and Netanyahu Go Visceral Submitted by Michael S, Jan 2, 2017 at 13:43 Hello, Opensoc Concerning Netanyahu, I believe his "ranting" has been cool and calculating. Recall that a few years ago, Trump wanted to visit Israel; but Netanyahu opposed him, over his "anti-Muslim" immigration comments. Bibi played the "politically correct" card back then, because he and nearly all the world believed that Hillary would win the White House. After Trump was elected, he began to make "amends" to our next President, by increasingly ignoring Obama and chiming in on what seems like the mood of Trump and the American voters -- a mood which is actually much more Zionist and pro-settler than Netanyahu has ever been. I think Netanyahu may have over-played his "Trump" suit, a little early. If he had merely sat on the sidelines until Inauguration Day, being his usual mealy-mouthed self, perhaps Big O would not have gone on his rampage. As things stand, he has quite a mess on his plate.
