Time to call a spade a spadeReader comment on item: Obama, Kerry and Netanyahu Go Visceral Submitted by Prashant (United States), Jan 2, 2017 at 11:11 Dear Dr Pipes, If the upcoming Trump administration does all those things that your reader Robert has hoped, there is bound to be a lot of discomfort in the Islamic world. In the last 1400 years a lot of injury has been caused by and to the Islamic world but no discomfort. So causing some discomfort through objective criticism won't hurt. Let us all begin to demand that Islamic countries adopt secular democracy as the system of governance. Democracy, after all, is loved like nothing else by Muslims in the countries where they are in minority and no one loves democracy more than the muslims in democratic countries. We have to change a billion mindsets and 'we the people' may be the best mantra to begin the meditation.
