Shallow Thinking Makes For Weak ConvictionsReader comment on item: What Rex Tillerson Thinks Submitted by Dave, Jan 7, 2017 at 18:15 So far, there is some very good news from the upcoming Trump administration. There is encouraging support for Israel, the advent of Walid Phares, and some interesting cabinet choices. On the other hand, I worry that men like Flynn, Mattis and Tillerson lack intellectual depth outside of their fields of business or the military. It's one thing to be pro or anti, but sometimes it's better to be none-of-the-above as a result of thinking more, and studying harder than the rest of the herd. Those are the people with the courage of their convictions. Trump has his good points, but he is no scholar, and some of his choices reflect that . Trees with shallow roots have a way of being blown down when the storms come, as they always do. Submitting....
