Caste distinctions are out-of-place in America

Daniel, the heart of what you're saying, seems to be,

"How an amateur president and an amateur secretary of state together will guide a great power's foreign policy will be, to say the least, interesting to watch."

You are, of course, equating tremendously successful international businessmen as "amateurs". Is this a reflection of your prejudices in favor of the "political class" over the "business class"? This would fit well in India, with its caste system; but it seems out of place in America.
