The Devolution of American IconsReader comment on item: Linda Sarsour, The Left's Latest Star Submitted by Dave (United States), Feb 4, 2017 at 20:09 Wow, I thought Donald Trump was a piece of work; Linda Sarsour makes him look like Alexis de Tocqueville. The unearned esteem that she has garnered reminds me of something a sales manager once told me: "It's not the depth of your knowledge that matters, but the height of your convictions". She has turned chutzpah into charisma, unfortunately. Who wants to actually hear negatives about Muhammed? What are you, some kind of bigot? Forget those tedious details. As George F. Babbitt would say, why read all those greasy books, anyway. If things continue to devolve, those MEMRI videos of shockingly ignorant people on Arab TV channels will start to look like home videos.
