Follow up on Ben and Jerry

Dear Dr Pipes, regarding B&J's boycott of Israel and my above letter to your forum I did some more research and found an interesting article by Rabbi Prof Dov Fischer (ref1). Prof. Fischer
Makes a lot of good points about (self hating) liberal Jews. A lot of what applies to the liberal Jews, also applies to liberal Hindus and liberal Christians. At one point Dov Fischer said so very correctly (my paraphrase) that people held Israel to a standard to which they did not hold any one else.

The more liberal and democratic we become, the more the so called progressives in our societies, will make our lives more difficult for our smallest mistakes, and Muslims will side with them to draw maximum advantage of the situation for Islam. People need to realize this fact and make each other aware of it. Biggest beneficiaries of democracy in the world are Muslims. Muslims are also the biggest enemies of democracy.

I recommend Prof Fischer's article to all your readers. At some points Mr Fischer may appear off topic but most of his article below is to the point. Toward the end he discusses the B&J situation.
